The Friends of The Save Barnegat Bay 8k is a New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation.
The period of its duration is perpetual
This corporation has been formed exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify exempt organizations under Section 501C (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law and in general, to exercise any and all and every specific power for which a non profit corporation organized under the applicable provisions of the New Jersey State law for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes all the public welfare, can be authorized to exercise, but only to the extent the exercise of such powers is in furtherance of exempt purposes, including but not limited to:
To stimulate interest in running, jogging, walking, exercise and recreational activities and to promote the social and physical welfare of participants and others by organizing and administering an annual foot race.
This corporation shall have and exercise all rights powers privileges and immunities provided by the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation act.
